Michigan had its two-game win streak snapped last time out, as it dropped a 23-16 decision to the Maryland Terrapins as six-point home favorites last week, while going UNDER the betting total for a third consecutive contest.  The Wolverines have allowed nine points and zero touchdowns in the first half over their last three games, which can’t be ignored when making your college football predictions, while their stop unit has allowed opponents to score a touchdown on 47.4 percent of their trips inside the red zone.  Michigan is 1-12 SU and 5-8 ATS as underdogs over the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 8-5 in those 13 opportunities.

The Wolverines are holding opponents to an average of 2.94 yards per rush, which is important to consider when looking over the college football betting lines, as they’ve held foes under the 2.5 mark in six of 11 contests.  Michigan has also managed to tally 79 tackles for loss—ranking third in the Big Ten Conference in that category.

Ohio State has rattled off nine impressive wins since suffering its only loss of the season on Sept. 6, as it comes off a 42-27 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers as 36.5-point home favorites, while going OVER the betting total for the eighth time in that span.  The Buckeyes have won their last 23 regular season conference games, while third-year head coach Urban Meyer has put together a 38-3 SU in the month of November since 2003 in his career.  Ohio State is 13-0 SU and 5-8 ATS as favorites of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Buckeyes have one of the best offensive players in the country in dual-threat quarterback J.T. Barrett, who has accounted for a school-record 42 touchdowns.  Ohio State wasn’t expected to have this type of success after Braxton Miller’s injury, but Barrett has exceeded all expectations in gaining 3,507 yards of total offense.

Sports bettors will likely back the Buckeyes due to the favorite covering the number in five of the last seven meetings.
