The Florida State Seminoles have won 27 consecutive games

Florida has won three of its last four games, as it prepares to its final regular-season contest under head coach Will Muschamp, who will not be returning to the program next year.  The Gators are second in the SEC and sixth nationally in red-zone efficiency, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football betting odds, as they’ve converted 36-of-39 trips inside that area.  On the defensive side of the ball, the squad has allowed just 120 total plays of 10 or more yards, which is tied for the 11th-best mark in the country.  Florida is 5-6 SU and 7-4 ATS as underdogs the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 6-5 in that situation.

The Gators suffered a humiliating 37-7 defeat to the Seminoles as 28-point home underdogs last year, which is important to consider when looking over the college football betting lines, as they were out-gained by a sizable 456-193 margin.  Florida is capable of beating any team in the country when winning the turnover battle—clearly demonstrated in its 23-5 SU record when tying or finishing with a plus margin in that statistical category.

Florida State enters on a school-record 27-game win streak, as it has scored 95 more touchdowns than its opponents over that stretch of time.  The Seminoles are allowing just 12.4 points per game at Doak Campbell Stadium since head coach Jimbo Fisher took over in 2010—holding foes to a combined 410 points in 33 home games.  Most of that success has come with Jameis Winston under center, as last year’s Heisman Trophy winner has put together a perfect 24-0 record during his time in Tallahassee.  Florida State is 13-1 SU and 3-11 ATS as favorites of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Seminoles have some major weapons for Winston to target downfield, with the biggest being senior wide receiver Rashad Greene, who holds the program record with 254 career receptions.  He also needs just 137 receiving yards to break the ACC’s mark that was established in that category by Duke’s Conner Vernon from 2009-12.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the OVER is 8-2 in the Gators’ 10 games this season.
