The Hawks look to get back into the series against the Wizards in game three Saturday in Atlanta.

The Washington Wizards held serve at home with two wins against the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series. Now, the series switches to Atlanta for the next two games, starting with game three Saturday.

Washington is coached by Scott Brooks. The Wizards were 49-33 in the regular season and are the #4 seed in the East. The Wizards are 44-39-1 ATS and the total is 52-32 this season.Atlanta is coached by Mike Budenholzer. The Hawks were 43-39 in the regular season and are the #5 seed in the East. Washington won game one 114-107 and game two 109-101 Wednesday night. The Wizards were 5.5 point favorites in  game two and the total was 212. The Hawks led 24-23 at the end of the first, but the Wizards would lead 51-43 at halftime. Atlanta outscored Washington 35-23 in the third to take a four point lead into the fourth. The game was back and forth until the last 3 minutes, when the Wizards pulled away for the eight point win.

Atlanta shot 32/79 from the field including 4/20 from three point range. The Hawks made 33/38 of their free throws. The Hawks had 52 rebounds, 17 assists, 18 turnovers, 6 steals and 6 blocks. Atlanta had 4 fast break and 44 points in the paint. Washington shot 39/86 from the field including 7/22 from three point range. The Wizards made 24/33 free throws. Washington had 56 rebounds, 22 assists, 11 turnovers, 10 steals and 11 blocks. The Wizards had 16 fast break points and 40 points in the paint.

Paul Millsap had 27 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals for the Hawks. Dennis Schroder had 23 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Tim Hardway, Jr. Had 19 points. Taurean Prince had 12 points and 4 rebounds. John Wall had 32 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds for the Wizards. Bradley Beal had 31 points, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 rebounds. Thabo Sefolosha, Mike Muscala, Taurean Prince, Mike Dunleavy, Malcolm Delaney, Kris Humphries and Jose Calderon will alos get minutes in the rotation.

Washington is 4-0 ATS after allowing more than 100 points, overall, against Eastern Conference teams, and after scoring 100 points or more, 10-1 in first round games, 4-1 against Southeast teams, 6-2 in Saturday games, 21-8 on two days rest, 5-2 after a cover, and 11-5 against teams with winning home records. The Wizards are 4-1 ATS in the last five games against the Hawks. The under is 4-1 in this series recently.

Washington won two relatively close games at home, but I think the Hawks get back into the series with a close win at home.
