Slugger Frank Thomas smacked his 500th homer today before being tossed in the ninth for arguing balls and strikes. 500 is quite a milestone. Or is it?
ESPN.com reports that the Portland Trailblazers will choose Greg Oden first in this yearâ€™s NBA draft. The choice was between Ohio State freshman star center Oden and freshman small forward Kevin Durant from the Texas Longhorns. Durant won just about every college award possible prior to declaring for the draft.
Itâ€™s a no-brainer. The Dallas Cowboys, who tend to look at talent and not character, are interested in Tank Johnson. Johnson, who was released by the Bears a few days ago after yet another run-in with the law, is a young defensive tackle with good moves, energy and quickness.
