Mar 15 - Selection Sunday is here. Our 2009 March Madness Bracket will be filled in live minutes after the pairings are announced on Sunday evening.
Mar 14 - A Huge Day with Memphis, USC, Missouri, Temple, Akron, Utah, Louisville, Utah State, Cal State Northridge, Binghamton, Morgan State, and Alabama State all punching tickets into the big dance. Louisville with their impressive run through the Big East conference regular season and tournament likely locked up a #1 seed. Only 4 more automatic births to be settled on Sunday.
Mar 12 - The last 3 major conference tournaments tip off today. All three of these will crown a winner on Selection Sunday. We have broken down the fields in all 3.
Mar 11 - North Dakota State, Cleveland State, and Western Kentucky all earned automatic bids last night. For today a ton of conference tournaments get underway. We have in-depth previews and predictions on the 5 major conf tourneys tipping off on Wednesday.

Mar 10 - 2 big conference tournaments get underway today. The MAC conference which is as wide open as it has ever been, and the Big East tournament which will expand to a 5 day 16 team juggernaut. For our preview of the MAC tournament click here or view the Big East tournament preview.
Mar 9 - 4 more teams punched their way into the 2009 Big Dance. VCU from the Colonial, Gonzaga from the West Coast, Tennessee Chattanooga from the Southern Conference, and Siena from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Mar 8 - Huge day with Southern Conference tourney favorite Davidson going down to College of Charleston. Northern Iowa also knocked off Illinois State in the finals to win the auto bid from the Missouri Valley.
Mar 6 - 4 more tournaments get underway today. By far the most interesting is the Colonial Conference tournament. This league features some great defensive minded teams and the winner of this tournament is a prime candidate to pull an upset over one of the major conference colleges. Read our full preview of the tournament here. Some of the smaller conference tournaments get underway today which include the America East Tournament. The Metro Atlantic Tournament, where Siena and Niagara figure to be the teams to beat. The next 2 conference tournaments include teams that are far and above the rest of the league. The West Coast tournament where Gonzaga resides and the Southern Conference tournament where last years cinderella Davidson plays in.

Mar 4 - Today a couple more conference tournaments get underway. The Atlantic Sun where Jacksonville is the likely favorite, the Patriot League where American earned the top seed with a 13-1 conference record, and the Sun Belt which is a very wide open field, although Western Kentucky seems to always put it together at the right time and as usual the Hilltoppers are playing great basketball.
