76ers Heat NBA Playoffs Game 4 Preview
The Miami Heat are 1-4 SUATS in their last five games

Denver snapped a two-game losing streak last time out, as it picked up a 120-112 victory over the Orlando Magic as three-point road favorites Wednesday, while going OVER the betting total for the fifth time in six contests.  The Nuggets have four of five probable starters averaging double figures, with point guard Ty Lawson leading the way at 18.6 points per contest.  The team is 12-20 SU on the road this season, including a 6-7 mark versus Eastern Conference opponents, which is important to consider when making your NBA predictions.  Denver is 0-3 SU and 2-1 ATS as road underdogs of 9.5 to 12 points this season.

The Nuggets have won 11 of their last 16 meetings with the Heat, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro basketball odds page.  Lawson is the main player to watch in this matchup, considering he’s one of four players in the league averaging 18.0 points and 8.0 assists per game.  Denver also possesses a bench that has outscored opponents in 42 of 64 games during the 2013-14 campaign.

Miami is 1-4 SUATS over its last five games, as it attempts to bounce back from a 96-95 setback to the Brooklyn Nets as nine-point home favorites Wednesday, while going UNDER the betting total for a fourth consecutive contest.  The Heat have four of five probable starters averaging in double figures, with forward LeBron James leading the way at 26.9 points a game.  Miami is 2-0 SUATS in games with a betting total of 210 or higher this season.

The Heat haven’t lost back-to-back home games since 2010-11, as they look for James to pick up his scoring production.  He has averaged 20.0 points on 44.8 percent shooting since his 61-point outburst on March 3.  Miami may need a big performance from center Chris Bosh, who has averaged 23.7 points during the franchise’s three-game winning streak in this series.

Sports bettors will likely back the Nuggets due to the underdog being 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in this non-conference series.
