Team Needs

Safety: The Ravens lost Will Demps to free agency and Chad Williams who can play both safety or dimeback might not be back. With Ed Reed in the secondary the Ravens are still okay, but adding another outstanding secondary player could make this defense dominant again.

Offensive Line: The Ravens released right tackle Orlando Brown and his replacement Tony Pashos is serviceable but hardly a shining star. Jonathon Ogden is still one of the leagues best but Baltimore has to realize that grooming his replacement is a problem that should be taken care of sooner than later.

Quarterback: Kyle Boller showed signs of life late in the 2005 season but the Ravens must realize he is not the answer. Its doubtful they will use a high draft pick on a QB because of areas that are more cause for concern but it wouldn't surprise us to see the Ravens go after Vanderbilt's Jay Cutler.

Summary

Baltimore lost Chester Taylor to Vikings but managed to resign Jamal Lewis to a 3 year deal as well as pick up Mike Anderson from Denver. Going into the offseason with both running backs as free agents one would have thought the draft would have been a viable option for replenishiment but those issues have been resolved with the Anderson and Lewis signings.

Which leaves the safety position as the number 1 concern. Texas Michael Huff is the teams best move if he is there at 13. If not Iowa's outside linebacker Chad Greenway or USC's offensive tackle Winston Justice would both be quality pickups.
