NC State will once again have to rely on their defense to ease the transition brought on by having a new offensive coordinator. Mark Trestman takes over the offensive rains, and plans to install a West Coast offense. For Trestman’s new offense to work NC State must improve on the -17 turnover differential they had last season. The defense is excellent and arguably boasts the best line in the conference. Florida St. is our prediction to win the Atlantic but North Carolina State should compete with BC for second place and make it to their 5th bowl game in the last 6 years.
