Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne is having a great year with rookie Andrew Luck under center

Miami has won three games in a row and returns home after a 30-9 win over the New York Jets as one-point road underdogs, while going UNDER the total for a third consecutive week.  The Dolphins were out-gained in all three of those contests, which is why it’s worrisome to make a play on them as road favorites in this spot.  Rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill is currently listed as questionable on the injury report with a leg injury.  Miami is 6-2 ATS in November the last two-plus years, with the UNDER going 6-2 in that situation.

The Dolphins have lost three consecutive games in this series, but that all came in facing future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning, who is now with the Denver Broncos.  Miami will look to run the football, as it ranks 11th in the NFL in averaging 115.9 rushing yards per game, but the team has managed to gain just 71.8 over the  last four contests.

Indianapolis returns home after picking up its first road win over the season, coming away with a 19-13 overtime victory over the Tennessee Titans as 3.5-point road underdogs, while going UNDER the total for the second consecutive week.  The Colts have gotten their ground game going over the past two weeks, which includes a 171-yard performance last Sunday.  The offensive line will find things to be difficult against a Miami stop unit that ranks third in the league in allowing just 82.0 rushing yards per game.  Indianapolis is 1-3 ATS as a home underdog of three or fewer points since 2010.

The Colts are being led by rookie quarterback Andrew Luck, who needs just 29 passing yards to reach 2,000 for the season.  Veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne continues to be his main weapon in the passing game, which could lead to a big day against a secondary that will be missing cornerback Vontae Davis.  Indianapolis ranks 24th in the league in averaging 19.4 points per game, but sit eighth in gaining 373.0 yards per game.

Sports bettors will likely back the Colts due to their 5-1 ATS mark at home, while the Dolphins are 6-7-1 ATS as a favorite in their last 14 opportunities.
