Cleveland had its three-game winning streak snapped last time out, as it suffered a 31-17 setback to the Detroit Lions as one-point home underdogs Sunday, while going OVER the betting total for the third time in four contests.  The Browns believe they need to be more balanced offensively, as they possess the NFL’s 17th-ranked passing attack, but defenses have focused on trying to stop their quarterbacks due to having little to no success in the running game.  Cleveland is 0-4 SUATS As road underdogs of 7.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons, with no edge in terms of the betting total (2-2 Over/Under).

The Browns ran for a season-high 115 yards in the first half last time out, but managed to gain just 11 in the second, which is important to consider when making your NFL betting picks in Week 7.  Defensively, Cleveland yielded 273 rushing yards on 4.6 yards per carry to Buffalo and Detroit after allowing 316 on 2.9 per rush in its first four games of the 2013 campaign.

Green Bay improved to 3-2 on the season with a 19-17 victory over the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens as three-point road favorites last week, while going UNDER the betting total for a second consecutive contest.  The Packers have won nine straight regular-season games at home, which is important to consider when looking over the NFL betting lines.  Including the playoffs, the defense has held opponents to 20 points or less in nine of its last 10 games at Lambeau Field.  Green Bay is 18-2 SU and 15-5 ATS at home the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 13-7 in those 20 opportunities.

The Packers rank second in the league in averaging 450.2 yards per game, while their 2,251 yards of total offense are the most through five games in franchise history.  Green Bay has rededicated itself to the running game—amassing 704 yards on 136 carries.  Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has completed 67.8 percent of his passes for 3,145 yards and 28 touchdowns with four interceptions in his last 10 October starts.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 5-2 in the Browns’ last seven road games.
