Packers Steelers Super Bowl XLV Picks
The Green Bay Packers have lost their final regular-season home game just once since 1992

Tennessee snapped a three-game losing streak in last week’s 14-10 win over the New York Jets, but the team has managed to win the statistical battle in its last five contests.  The Titans were flagged 14 times when being featured on ESPN’s Monday Night Football, something that may linger in sports bettors’ minds when making their NFL picks against the spread in Week 16.  “We won is all that matters,” commented Titans head coach Mike Munchak.  Tennessee is 0-5 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record this season.

The Titans are led offensively by running back Chris Johnson, who has reached the 1,100-yard mark for the fourth time.  He enters this non-conference affair with 1,159 yards on 244 carries, with five rushing touchdowns.  Tennessee has compiled a dominating 29-14 record against NFC opponents since 2002, while also owning a 6-4 overall record in this particular series.

Green Bay has won eight of its last 10 games in hopes of landing the No. 2 spot in the upcoming NFC playoffs, as it comes off a 21-13 victory over the Chicago Bears as three-point road favorites, while going UNDER the total for a fifth consecutive game.  “There’s a lot to play for,” stated Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.  The Packers have won their final home game of the season each year under head coach Mike McCarthy, while winning 19 of 20 overall in that situation since 1992.  Green Bay is 7-2 ATS as a home favorite of 10.5 to 14 points over the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 6-3 in that span.

The Packers have won 19 of their last 20 regular-season games at Lambeau Field, while putting together a 27-5 overall mark in their last 32 non-playoff games, which is the best mark in the league in that span.  Green Bay has averaged 31.0 points per game at home since 2009, which is the second-best mark in the NFL, trailing only the New England Patriots (32.8).

Sports bettors will likely back the Packers due to their 4-0 ATS mark in December, while the Titans are 1-7 ATS when playing on Sunday following a Monday night affair.
