Tennessee has dropped six of its last seven games, including a 30-16 defeat to the Houston Texans as 3.5-point home underdogs on Oct. 26, while losing the statistical battle for the fifth consecutive contest.  The Titans will need to do a better job in stopping the run in this AFC matchup, which can’t be ignored when making your Week 10 NFL predictions, as they’ve allowed opponents to averaging 134.8 rushing yards per game.  Tennessee is 1-13 SU and 2-10 ATS when playing a team with a winning record the last two-plus seasons.

The Titans are coming out of their bye week and intend to send out rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger for his second start, which is important to consider when looking over the NFL betting odds, as they rank behind 23 teams in throwing for 219.9 yards per game.  The former LSU star connected on 27 of 41 passes for 299 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in his first go around as a professional.

Baltimore returns home after suffering back-to-back losses on the road, including a 43-23 blowout loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers as 2.5-point underdogs last week, while going OVER the betting total in each of those affairs.  The Ravens secondary was an absolute disaster in trying to limit Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, as it allowed a season-high 321 passing yards in that AFC North matchup, and will now play without the services of starting cornerback Jimmy Smith for a second consecutive contest.  Baltimore is 5-2 SUATS as favorites this season, with the OVER going 4-3 in that situation.

The Ravens need quarterback Joe Flacco to put together a major performance, as he’s tossed four touchdowns and five interceptions in his last three games, while he was brought to the ground four times by the Steelers in Week 9.  Baltimore suffered a 26-13 defeat to Tennessee as 5.5-point road favorites in the last meeting on Sept. 18, 2011, with Flacco getting picked off two times and tossing a single score.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 4-0-1 in the last five meeting in this series when played in Baltimore.
