The Chiefs have won five straight games dating back to its 45-10 win over Detroit. Last week KC took out the Bills 30-22. QB Alex Smith threw 19 of 30 for 255 yards with two TDs and no picks. His top target was Jeremy Maclin who caught nine passes for 160 yards with a TD.

Maclin is in his seventh year out of Missouri and has 772 yards on the season, having caught 57 of 73 targeted passes for an average of 13.5 yards per catch. He leads the team in receiving yards, but Travis Kelce leads in TDs with four and he has 689 yards on 54 catches. Maclin and Kelce have caught 111 of the team’s 228 receptions and the Raiders secondary is going to have its hands full with the duo.

Smith has thrown for 2,681 yards this season at a 63.8 percent clip while having a 4:1 TD/INT ratio. His 34 sacks are a black mark, but Smith still has posted a passer rating of 94.6 on the year.

The Chiefs have turned to Charcandrick West and Jamaal Charles in the backfield. Charles is second only to Smith in yards per carry (5.1) while West has the lead in carries with 373 but has just nine more yards than Charles on the season. Smith has rushed for 303 yards on 55 carries but has just one rushing TD on the season. Charles, Smith and West have combined for eight of the team’s 15 rushing TDs. West is a dual-threat with 199 yards on 14 catches this season. He has fumbled just once on the year, but it was not recovered.

The Raiders are 5-6 on the season and snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating the Tennessee Titans 24-21 last week. Derek Carr threw a 12-yard TD pass to Seth Roberts with 1:21 remaining as Oakland was able to hold on. Carr had 330 yards on 24 of 37 passing while throwing three TDs and no picks, posting a passer rating of 78.4. Latavious Murray had 59 yards on 22 carries, but the Raiders managed just 84 total rushing yards.

The biggest beneficiaries of the passing assault were Amari Cooper (seven catches for 115 yards) and Roberts (six for 113 yards). Cooper has 851 yards on the year and Roberts has 352. Cooper is dealing with a thumb injury but is expected to play. Michael Crabtree also factors big, but he managed just 19 yards on four catches against the Titans and he has not had a 100-plus yard receiving game since he did it in back-to-back weeks against New York Jets and the Steelers.

Carr has thrown for 2,895 yards on 240 of 378 passing this season. He averages just 7.7 yards per attempt but has thrown 24 TDs to just six INTs on the year (1.6 percent). His passer rating of 101.5 attests not only to how good Carr has been, but also how reliant on the passing game Oakland has been.

Murray has rushed for 765 yards on 179 attempts with a 4.3 yards per carry average. He has four of the team’s five rushing TDs on the year and when the Raiders get in the red zone, Crabtree looms large. He leads the team with six reception TDs, while Cooper has caught four TDs, but leads the team in yardage with 851 on the season. Oakland has scored 26 passing TDs this season.
