The Florida Gators are coming off a tremendous performance on the ground last week

Florida will try to win back-to-back games for just the second time this season, as it picked up a 38-20 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs as 11.5-point neutral-site underdogs last week, while going OVER the betting total for a third consecutive affair.  The Gators finished with 418 rushing yards last week, which can’t be ignored when making your Week 11 NCAA football betting picks, as that was the fifth-best single-game total in school history.  Florida is 5-2 SU and 2-5 ATS as favorites of 10.5 to 21 points since the start of the 2012 campaign, with the OVER going 4-3 in that situation.

The Gators own a 35-10-2 all-time advantage over the Commodores, which is important to consider when looking over the NCAA football betting lines, as it has won its last 11 trips to the Music City.  Florida leads the Southeastern Conference and sits second nationally in red-zone efficiency—converting 24-of-25 trips inside the red zone.  The offensive line is doing a great job in protecting its quarterbacks in allowing just 11 sacks this season, while the defense is averaging 2.86 on the other end.

Vanderbilt has alternated wins and losses over its last four contests, as it looks to build off a 42-28 victory over Old Dominion as seven-point home favorites last week—capturing the statistical battle for the first time this season.  After years of underachieving late in the season, the Commodores have notched 10 consecutive victories in the month of November, but it’s important to point out that nearly all of that success came under current Penn State head coach James Franklin.  Over the last two-plus seasons, the school is 8-0 SUATS in Weeks 10 through 13.

The Commodores are one of the younger teams in the SEC, which is clearly evident in the fact that their leading passer, rusher, receiver and tackler are all first-year contributors.  Vanderbilt has a major playmaker in Nigel Bowden on the defensive side of the ball, as he leads all conference freshmen in total stops.

Sports bettors will likely back the Gators due to the road team covering the number in the last six installments of this series.
