The Bulls have already secured the best record in the Eastern Conference and are likely going to draw either the Knicks or the Sixers in the first round. Neither team will represent a threat to Derrick Rose’s Chicago Bulls. Coach Thibeadeau is able to answer good offensive teams, neither of which the Knicks or Sixers are, though many may argue the Knicks are (another debate for another day).

The Bulls will use this as a statement game against Indiana, who is currently challenging for elite status in the East. The Pacers are currently locked into the #3 seed and sit behind only the two juggernauts, the Bulls, and LeBron James’ Heatles. Indiana is likely going to draw Orlando in the first round, and I honestly feel the Pacers can dispose of the Dwight Howard-less, and likely Turkoglu-less, Magic, in five games.

The Magic have no answer for a team as defensive as the Pacers, and Hibbert is going to have a field day. Who will cover Hibbert? Glen “Don’t Call Me Big Baby” Davis? Take the futures bet on the Pacers to win the series, at any rate, because it is approaching lock-like status, given the fact that the Magic just don’t have the pieces outside of Howard to even field a competitive team. Ryan Anderson will have to play out of his mind just to keep the Magic in games.

Bulls Betting Trends:

Chicago is 37-27 ATS this season and 33-25 ATS as a favorite. They are 20-12 ATS on the road and 13-4 ATS after a non-conference game. They are 7-5 ATS vs teams on the road with winning records in the second half of the season.

Pacers Betting Trends:

Indiana is 32-33 ATS this season and 15-17 ATS at home. They are 21-24 ATs in the second half of the season and 15-14 ATS vs teams with winning records. They are 2-3 ATS in games in which the total is between 185 and 189.5
