Fresno State is a perfect 8-0 this season and expected to continue unbeaten according to college football oddsmakers at Bovada, who favor the visiting Bulldogs by 10-points over Wyoming.

The Bulldogs have done the most with its poor schedule, amassing the nation’s fourth highest pass offense (386.3 yards per game) and scoring 43.9 points per game. The defense has been good against the lackluster opponents, allowing 29 points per game. The team is hoping to secure a Mountain West Title and will conclude its season with matches against New Mexico and San Jose State, as well as make up the Sept 14 matchup against Colorado, which was postponed.

Fresno QB Derek Carr has had a sensational season, passing for 3,061 yards on a 69.2 percent completion clip. He’s thrown 28 TDs with a mere four interceptions on the season. The Bulldogs don’t go to their backfield a lot, but both Josh Quezada and Marteze Waller are averaging over five yards per carry and have combined for nine touchdowns.

Wyoming is riding a two-game losing streak after suffering losses to Colorado State and San Jose State. The team is 2-2 in-conference and closes the season with a home game against Hawaii and a trip to Utah State.

The Cowboys have been very good offensively this season, ranking 20th in the nation in both pass and rush yardage, but despite generating such good offense and 36.5 points per game, the team sits at .500 due to a mediocre defense. Wyoming allows 31.6 points per game and it will definitely have its problems containing Fresno in this contest.

FS Trends: OVER 6-1 in last 7 following a bye week; 1-5 ATS in last 6 after scoring more than 40 points in previous week; 1-4 ATS in last 5 conf games.

WY Trends: 0-4 ATS vs teams with winning records; 1-7 ATS in last 8 vs teams with winning records; UNDER 12-2 in last 14 after allowing more than 280 yards passing in previous game.
