Oklahoma State has won four games in a row since a season-opening loss to top-ranked Florida State, as it comes off a 37-20 victory over the Iowa State Cyclones as 16.5-point home favorites last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total for the first time.  The Cowboys have won nine of their last 10 meetings in this series, which is important to consider when making your Week 7 college football betting picks, while they’ve also compiled a 15-6 SU record in their last 21 road games versus Big 12 Conference opponents.  Oklahoma State is 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS as favorites of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 6-4 in that situation.

The Cowboys haven’t trailed in the second half in their last four contests, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football betting lines, but their two conference wins have come against Texas Tech and Iowa State—two teams that are a combined 3-7 on the year.  Oklahoma State is averaging 286.6 passing yards and 163.2 rushing, but longtime head coach Mike Gundy is looking for a spark from Tyreek Hill, who has averaged just 55.3 yards of offense in his last four contests.

Kansas has dropped its last two games, including a 33-14 setback to the West Virginia Mountaineers as 27-point road underdogs last Saturday, as it was out-gained by 381 yards.  The Jayhawks will be playing their second game since the firing of old head coach Charlie Weis, while they’ve been outscored by a 135-75 margin thus far in 2014.  Kansas is 0-9 SU and 5-4 ATS in October the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 5-4 in those nine opportunities.

The Jayhawks have two running backs with 300-plus yards on the ground this season, while quarterback Montell Cozart has completed just under 50 percent of his passes for 693 yards and five touchdowns with seven interceptions.  Kansas ranks 112th in the country in total offense and gained just 176 yards last time out.

Sports bettors will likely back the Cowboys due to the favorite being 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in this series.
