Georgia makes just its second trip to Columbia, MO, as it looks to push its win streak to four games after picking up a 44-17 victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores as 33.5-point home favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total for the fifth time to start the season.  The Bulldogs are averaging 45.0 points per game, which is important to consider when making your Week 7 college football betting picks, especially since the school record was set in 2012 with a figure of 37.8.  Georgia is 4-3 SU and 1-6 ATS in October the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 4-2-1 in that situation.

The Bulldogs have a legitimate Heisman Trophy contender in running back Todd Gurley, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football betting lines, as he’s averaging 8.2 yards per carry and has hit pay dirt eight times.  Georgia signal-caller Hutson Mason has done a admirable job in taking over after the departure of four-year starter Aaron Murray, as he’s completed 68.3 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns and three interceptions.

Missouri is coming off a bye week and returns home after registering a 21-20 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks as 6.5-point road underdogs on Sept. 27, while going UNDER the betting total for a third consecutive affair.  The Tigers have dropped two of three all-time meetings in this series, but did come away with a 41-26 triumph as 6.5-point road underdogs last year.  Missouri is 4-0 SUATS following a week off the last two-plus seasons, with no clear edge in terms of the betting total (2-2 Over/Under).

The Tigers have also turned over their offense to a new signal-caller this year, with sophomore Maty Mauk throwing for 14 touchdowns and just four interceptions through five games in 2014.  His main target in recent games has been senior Bud Sasser, who recorded a team-high six catches for 86 yards versus the Gamecocks, while also finishing with a career-high 12 grabs for 153 yards earlier in the year against Indiana.

Sports bettors will likely back the Tigers due to their 6-2 ATS mark in their last eight opportunities as home underdogs of three or fewer points.
