Alabama travels to play its final regular season game of the 2013 season, as it looks to hold onto the No. 1 spot in the BCS standings, while also earning a spot in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta on Dec. 7.  The Crimson Tide are 42-34-1 all-time against the Tigers, which includes not surrendering an offensive touchdown in the last two games in this series.  With Auburn moving up to the No. 4 spot in the AP poll, it will be the highest ranked team the program has ever played in a regular season game when possessing the No. 1 spot in the country.  Alabama Crimson Tide are 12-0 SU and 8-4 ATS as road favorites the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 8-4 in that situation.

The Crimson Tide have won their last 18 games when playing away from Bryant-Denny Stadium, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football odds page.  Alabama has also compiled a dominating 16-3 SU record under head coach Nick Saban when being featured on ESPN’s College GameDay broadcast.  Senior quarterback AJ McCarron has 36 career wins, while senior linebacker C.J. Mosley leads one of the nation’s top defensive units.

Auburn has won and covered the number in seven consecutive games, including a thrilling 43-38 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs as three-point home favorites on Nov. 16, while winning the statistical battle on the ground in each of those affairs.  The Tigers are 10-1 under first-year head coach Gus Malzahn, with most of the credit being given to the rushing attack, which paces the SEC in yards per game on the ground.  Auburn is 2-6 SU and 4-4 ATS as underdogs of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Tigers have scored at least 30 points in seven consecutive games for the first time since 1994, which can’t be ignored when making your college football predictions in Week 14.  Auburn is 3-8 SU all-time when facing the nation’s top ranked team, including a 1-2 mark at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 9-4-1 in the last 14 meetings in this series.
