Indiana snapped a three-game losing streak in picking up a 52-35 victory over Illinois as 9.5-point home favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total for the eighth time in nine contests.  The Hoosiers have scored 28-or-more points in 10 straight games dating back to last season, which is a program record and can’t be ignored when looking over the college football betting lines.  The team’s 52 touchdowns is also the best such mark in school history—surpassing the 50 scored in 1988 and 2007.  Indiana is 0-6 SU and 3-3 ATS as an underdog of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Hoosiers received a huge rushing performance out of Tevin Coleman, who ran for a career-high 215 yards on 15 carries last week, which led to him capturing Big Ten Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.  Indiana is the only team in the FBS with four players with 100 receptions and 1,000 yards in their careers, while quarterback Nate Sudfeld leads the conference in throwing 19 touchdown passes.

Wisconsin has won and covered the spread in four consecutive games, including a 27-17 victory over the BYU Cougars as nine-point home favorites last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total for the fourth time in five affairs.  Over the last eight seasons, the Badgers are 24-4 after Nov. 1 when excluding bowl games, which is important to consider when making your college football predictions.  The program is looking to improve to 6-0 at home for the third time in its last four campaigns.  Wisconsin is 7-0 SUATS as a favorite this season, with the UNDER going 4-2-1 in that situation.

The Badgers are the only college football team that boasts a pair of players averaging more than 100 rushing yards per game.  In three career games versus Indiana, Wisconsin running back James White is averaging 130.7 yards per game on the ground—averaging 8.5 yards per attempt in those affairs.  During the team’s eight-game win streak in this series, it has won those contests by an average of 35.4 points per game.

Sports bettors will likely back the Badgers due to the favorite being 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in this series.
