Virginia looks to snap a 0-3 SUATS streak, as it dropped a 35-10 decision to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as four-point road favorites last week, while going UNDER the betting total for a fourth consecutive affair.  The Cavaliers are playing a road night game for the first time since Nov. 19, 2011, which can’t be ignored when making your Week 11 college football predictions, while they’ve captured three of four games in that situation under head coach Mike London overall.  Virginia is 1-8 SU and 6-3 ATS as underdogs of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 5-4 in those nine opportunities.

The Cavaliers have one of the best young players in the Atlantic Coast Conference, with safety Quinn Blanding racking up 89 tackles this season, which is important to consider when looking over the college football betting lines.  Virginia’s stop unit has limited opponents to 344.7 yards per game, which ranks 28th in the country, with Georgia Tech being the only foe to breakthrough the 400-yard mark against it.

Florida State has scored 94 more touchdowns than its opponents during its current 24-game win streak, with quarterback Jameis Winston playing a big part in that success—leading the nation with a career pass efficiency rating of 172.63.  The Seminoles have also won 20 consecutive ACC games, which includes 10 wins at Doak Campbell Stadium over that run.  Florida State is 11-1 SU and 3-9 ATS as favorites of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons, with no clear edge in terms of the betting total (6-6 Over/Under).

The Seminoles have a veteran offensive line to protect Winston, with the group having 143 combined starts.  Florida State’s star threw for a season-high 401 yards and three second-half touchdowns in a 42-31 come-from-behind victory over Louisville in Week 10, as he’s starting to creep back into the Heisman Trophy discussion after winning the award a season ago.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 8-0 in the last eight meetings in this series.
