The week 9 nfl odds are posted on our live point spreads page
The week 9 NFL betting lines have been moved around. Make sure you check out our NFL odds page so you can compare the opening lines with the current numbers. Here’s a glance at some intriguing match ups.

Baltimore (-5) vs. Miami – The Ravens opened as 4 point home favorites against the visiting Dolphins, but most books are currently listing the game at 5 points. The squares are liking the Fins at better than 60%, which means the sharps are moving the line. Miami has been great on the road, going 4-0 on the season. They took down an underachieving Bengals team last week. Baltimore is coming off their bye, so they should be rested and ready. The week before, the Ravens got all they wanted from Buffalo.

New England (-4) at Cleveland – The Patriots started as 4 point road favorites against the Browns, and after the line moved up to 5 ½, some buy back on Cleveland has brought the line back to the opening number. The public is backing New England at better than 3:1. The Pats have looked as good as any other team in the NFL. They’ve lost only one game – to the Jets on the road. Other than that, the Pats have had a perfect season. Cleveland had their bye this past week. The Browns have been surprisingly good in recent weeks. Colt McCoy and company look to build off their shocking win over the Saints in New Orleans. The Dog Pound will be loud this Sunday.

Giants (-7) at Seattle – New York opened as 5 point road favorites for their game against the Seahawks in Seattle. However, since Matt Hasselbeck has been ruled out for the game, the line has jumped to 7 points at most sites with a couple sitting at 8. The squares are betting the G-Men at over 80%. The Giants have one of the best teams in the NFC this year. They’re coming off their bye, but have to travel cross country to play in a loud stadium. Seattle got annihilated in Oakland last week, and losing Hasselbeck was only part of the problem. But this team is usually about 2 touchdowns better at home. The Seahawks are still the team to beat in the NFC West.

Oakland (-1) vs. Kansas City – The Raiders opened as a 1 point favorite, and after the line moved to 3, buy back on KC has brought the line down to the opening number, or a pick at some sites. The public is split, though slightly favor the Chiefs. With San Diego’s poor start, these are the top two teams in the AFC West. The Chiefs have been solid all season. The defense is underrated and the ground game is tops in the NFL. But the Raiders have the second best rushing attack in the League. Darren McFadden is quietly coming into his own. The Raider defense has made significant strides this year. The Silver and Black have flat-out dominated their last two opponents.

Pittsburgh (-5) at Cincinnati – The Monday night game is an AFC North battle. The Steelers started as 3 ½ point road favorites at Cincy, but the line is currently scattered between 4 ½ and 5 ½ points, though 5 is the popular number. The public is backing Pittsburgh at better than 80%. The Steelers are looking to bounce back from their loss to the Saints in New Orleans. Since Ben Roethlisberger’s return, the offense hasn’t been as potent as many people predicted. They’ll look to get on track against a reeling Bengals team. Cincy lost at home to Miami last week. Carson Palmer had another pedestrian effort and the defense is nowhere near the level of play from last year. The one bright spot has been Terrell Owens, who has come on in the past few weeks.
