TCU is leaving the Lonestar State for the second time this season, as it suffered a 20-10 defeat to the Texas Tech Red Raiders as three-point road favorites in its first trip on Sept. 12.  The Horned Frogs are 9-12-2 all-time against the Cowboys, including a 3-6 mark when playing in Stillwater, which can’t be ignored when making your college football predictions.  The program has the nation’s fourth-best road record at 16-3 since 2009, including a 4-3 mark when taking on Big 12 Conference opponents.  TCU is 4-5 SU and 5-4 ATS as underdogs the last two-plus seasons.

The Horned Frogs have just 10 scholarship seniors on this year’s roster, while over 40 percent of players who have seen action this season are sophomores.  TCU has held 11 of its last 12 opponents to less than a 60 percent completion percentage, while it tops the Big 12 and sits behind just four teams in averaging 3.7 sacks per game.  The team has scored more points in both the third and fourth quarter than it has in the first half during the 2013 campaign.

Oklahoma State is searching for its sixth win in its last seven Homecoming games, as it looks to win two games in a row after picking up a 33-29 victory over the Kansas State Wildcats as 12.5-point home favorites on Oct. 5, while going OVER the betting total for the first time in three contests.  The Cowboys are 14-1 in their last 15 games in Boone Pickens Stadium, while capturing their last 20 against unranked opponents.  Oklahoma State is 2-0 SUATS as home favorites of 3.5 to 7 points the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER cashing in both of those affairs.

The Cowboys have scored more than 30 points in each of their last 23 home games, which is important to consider when looking over the college football betting lines.  Through five games, Oklahoma State has forced 12 turnovers while committing just five of its own.  Defensively, the team ranks 38th in total defense, but it’s important to point out that it sits behind just 18 teams in allowing just 4.69 yards per play.

Sports bettors will likely back the Cowboys due to their 19-6-1 ATS mark in their last 26 games in October.
