The New England Patriots have won their last five games heading off their bye week

New England is 5-0 SU and 4-1 in its last five games, as it comes off a bye week after picking up a convincing 43-21 win over the Denver Broncos as three-point home underdogs, while going OVER the betting total for a sixth consecutive affair.  The Patriots are led by quarterback Tom Brady, which is important to consider when making your Week 11 NFL betting picks, as he’s put together a 106.9 passer rating in his last two meetings against the Colts.  New England is 3-0 SUATS when playing a team with a winning record during the 2014 campaign, with all three going OVER the total.

The Patriots are dangerous road underdogs due to Brady throwing for 333 yards and four touchdowns with an interception last time out, which can’t be ignored when looking over the NFL betting odds.  New England is averaging a league-best 40.2 points over its current win streak, with tight end Rob Gronkowski proving to be one of the more valuable players on the football field—catching 36 passes for 516 yards and five scores over that stretch.

Indianapolis has proven victorious in six of its last seven affairs, including a 40-24 blowout victory over the New York Giants as three-point road favorites on Nov. 3, while going OVER the betting total for the second consecutive contest.  The Colts lead all teams in scoring 32.2 points per game, but they enter this high-profile matchup with an even turnover differential, which is far different than the Patriots plus12 mark.  Indianapolis is 17-4 SU and 16-5 ATS at home the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 12-9 in that situation.

The Colts have a major player under center in third-year quarterback Andrew Luck, but he’s completed just 51.6 percent of his passes with seven picks in two games in this series.  Indianapolis needs him to duplicate his current 2014 level, as the former Stanford Cardinal star has thrown for 3,085 yards—on pace to break the single-season record in that statistical category.

Sports bettors will likely back the Colts due to their 5-0 ATS mark at home versus teams with a winning road record.
