The Vanderbilt Commodores are 4-1 ATS as underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points since 2011

Vanderbilt sports a 11-4 record in its last 15 games dating back to midseason a year ago, as it looks to bounce back from a 56-24 setback to the Texas A&M Aggies as 17.5-point road underdogs on Oct. 26.  The Commodores have an opportunity to finish this season with a flourish, as they tallied their first unblemished November since 1982 last year.  Offensively, the team has now scored at least 24 points in 14 consecutive games, which is important to consider when looking over the college football betting lines in Week 11.  Vanderbilt is 2-3 SU and 4-1 ATS as an underdog of 3.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Commodores have scored on 30 of 34 red-zone possessions, which has resulted in an 88 percent success rate.  Fourteen players on Vanderbilt’s roster hail from the state of Florida, which trails only Georgia and Tennessee in that particular category.  The running back corps is doing a superb job protecting the football, as it paces the Southeastern Conference and ranks second nationally behind the Florida State Seminoles with just two fumbles lost through eight games.

Florida will look to end a three-game losing streak, which includes a 23-20 setback to the Georgia Bulldogs as 3.5-point home underdogs last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total of 47.  The Gators are looking for their 23rd win in a row over the Commodores, a winning streak that dates back to 1989, and can’t be ignored when making your college football predictions.  Offensively, the team is averaging just 334.6 yards per game, which ranks 110th in the country.  Florida is 6-3 SU and 2-7 ATS in November the last two-plus seasons.

Through eight games of the 2013 campaign, the Gators are second in the SEC and eighth nationally in allowing 290.8 yards per game.  Florida has been hit hard by injuries this season, with eight players suffering season-ending injuries, including five potential starters.

Sports bettors will likely back the Commodores due to the road team being 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings.
