Seattle has won three consecutive games, including a 38-17 victory over the New York Giants as nine-point home favorites last week, while going OVER the betting total for the fourth time in five contests.  The Seahawks have gone back to establishing the run in recent weeks, which is important to consider when making your NFL betting picks, as running back Marshawn Lynch ran for 140 yards and a career-high four touchdowns last week.  Seattle is 6-4 SU and 9-1 ATS as underdogs the last two-plus seasons, with no clear edge in terms of the betting total (5-5 Over/Under).

The Seahawks have an explosive offense with third-year signal-caller Russell Wilson, which can’t be ignored when looking over the NFL betting lines, as he’s gained 100 or more yards on the ground three times this season.  Seattle paces the league in averaging 5.51 yards per carry and an average of 170.9 yards on the ground.  The team should continue with the game plan due to Kansas City’s stop unit giving up an average of 4.7 yards a carry.

Kansas City enters on a 4-0 SUATS run, as it was last seen picking up a 17-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills as two-point road underdogs last week, while going UNDER the betting total for a fifth consecutive affair.  The Chiefs occupy the 22nd spot in the league in total offense, as they’ve been held to fewer than 300 total yards three separate times during the 2014 campaign—despite having a healthy Jamaal Charles.  Kansas City is 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS as home favorites of three or fewer points since the start of the 2012 campaign, with the UNDER going 3-2 in those five opportunities.

The Chiefs will want to feature Charles in this non-conference matchup, as he ran for 98 yards a week ago, while managing to hit pay dirt for the fourth consecutive contest.  The former Texas Longhorns star has yet to hit the century mark in terms of rushing yards, but his 4.7 yards per carry average is behind only nine other players in the league.

Sports bettors will likely back the Seahawks due to their 14-7 SUATS mark following two or more consecutive wins.
