Falcons Vs Bears Game Preview
The Chicago Bears are 2-5 ATS in December since 2010

Seattle hits the road for a second consecutive week, coming off a disappointing 24-21 decision to the Miami Dolphins as three-point favorites, while going OVER the total for the third time in four games.  The Seahawks have dropped five of six games on the road this season and have gone 6-16 away from CenturyLink Field during the Pete Carroll era.  Seattle is 5-1 ATS as an underdog this season, with the UNDER going 4-2 in that situation.

The Seahawks are always worth a look when making your NFL picks against the spread, as their defense allows only 16.8 points per game.  Seattle is hoping that rookie quarterback Russell Wilson can continue his strong play, throwing for 585 yards and seven touchdowns in his last three games.  On the defensive side of the ball, the team needs to do a better job in stopping the run, allowing 755 yards on the ground in the last five games.

Chicago earned a 28-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings as 6.5-point home favorites last week, which made its recent two-game losing streak a distant memory, while going UNDER the posted total of 38.5.  The Bears are an injury-riddled group, which could make it difficult for some NFL handicappers to back them when looking at the pro football odds in Week 13.  “There is some concern for some guys,” stated Bears coach Lovie Smith.  “But we’ll bounce back.”  Chicago is 1-4 ATS at home when the total is between 35.5 and 38 points, with the OVER going 3-2 in that situation.

The Bears have been very happy with wide receiver Brandon Marshall’s production, as he’s caught 81 passes for 1,017 yards and eight touchdowns.  He’s accounted for 42 percent of the team’s completed passes and 46 percent of its passing yards.  Chicago’s Jay Cutler will try to target him early and often in the passing game, as he looks to improve his record to 16-5 when starting under center since last season.

Sports bettors will likely back the Seahawks due to their 3-0 ATS mark when playing a winning team this year, while the Bears are 2-5 ATS in December since 2010.
