The Denver Nuggets are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games when playing on zero days rest

Denver has won a season-high six games in a row, including a 115-111 overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers as nine-point home favorites last night, while going OVER the total for the fourth time in five contests.  The Nuggets were led by point guard Ty Lawson, who finished with 24 points and 12 assists, while owning a 4.3 assist-to-turnover ratio over his last five games.  He is one of four probable starters averaging double figures in scoring, with that group led by forward Danilo Gallinari at 16.5 points per game.  Denver is 7-2 ATS when playing on back-to-back days this season, something to consider when making your pro basketball picks Wednesday night.

The Nuggets dropped two of three meetings against the Thunder last year, but did come away with a 106-101 win as 1.5-point road favorites on April 25.  Denver will need to continue scoring points, averaging 109.8 points per game during its current win streak, as Oklahoma City is second in the league in scoring 105.1 points per game.

Oklahoma City returns home after sweeping a three-game road trip, including a 102-90 victory over the Phoenix Suns as five-point favorites Monday night, while going UNDER the total in four consecutive contests.  “We’re a defensive team first and we’re going to keep building on that,” stated Thunder center Kendrick Perkins.  The Thunder have allowed an average of just 90.9 points over their last seven games.  Oklahoma City is 9-15 ATS after three or more consecutive UNDERs, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro basketball betting odds.

The Thunder are led offensively by forward Kevin Durant, who is coming off a 41-point performance, while shooting 56.1 percent during the month of January.  He combines with point guard Russell Westbrook to make up the NBA’s highest scoring duo, as they combine to score 51.1 points per game.  Oklahoma City is 18-3 at Chesapeake Energy Arena this season, including a 12-1 mark versus Western Conference foes.

Sports bettors will likely back the Nuggets due to their 10-2 ATS mark when playing with zero days rest, while the Thunder are 1-3-1 ATS in the last five meetings.
