Pac-12 Betting Preview and Analysis: Colorado at #19 Arizona

No. 19 ranked Arizona is 6-2 on the season and will play host to conference foe Colorado. Arizona is 17-point favorites in the affair which also has the college football odds listed with a 70 point total.

Bona has benefitted from a top-tier pass offense. The Wildcats average 326.8 yards in the air and 179.3 on the ground, as the Wildcats average 36.4 points per game this season, while holding opponents to 26.9.

Arizona QB Anu Solomon has thrown for 2,605 yards at nearly a 60 peacent completion ratio with 21 TDs and five INTs on the year. He boasts a 136.3 passer rating with top Cayleb Jones having caught for 716 yards and eight of Zona’s 21 passing TDs. No. 2 WR Austin Hill has 30 receptions for 413 yards and four TDs.

The Cats have received good play from its backfield. Nick Wilson and Terris Jones-Grigsby both average 5.6 yards per carry and have 10 TDs between them. Wilson ran for an 85-yard TD this year, part of his team-high 610 yards.

Colorado is 2-7 and 0-6 in Pac-12 play. The Buffaloes have a strong offense, averaging 30.9 points per game, but its defense has been horrendous. Colorado is surrendering 38.7 points to opponents and is losers of its last five games.

The last Buffaloes victory came in a 21-12 defeat of Hawaii on Sept 20. Since that point, the Buffaloes have given up 36 points or more in every contests, with the No. 22 USC Trojans having battered the Buffaloes for 56 points, while Cal managed 59 in a three-point double-OT loss on Sept. 27.
