Tom Brady 279.5 Passing Yards

Tom Brady has been struggling to get yardage lately. He’s been under 250 passing yards in four of his past five games, though last week he was good for 292 yards on 23-of-35 passing (65 percent) against the Cincinnati Bengals. Brady should be able to exploit the Chargers, but it seems like a good UNDER to bet on Brady throwing more in the neighborhood of 230-250 yards, which will fall far shy of this prop bet mark.

Tom Brady 23.5 Total Comp.

Brady has thrown a lot of passes for short yardage, and he’s been at 24 or over in two of the last five games. Last week, and the week prior, however, he has averaged just 18.5 receptions on average between the two. Brady took advantage of Oakland in a low scoring 16-9 contest for 24 catches, but it doesn’t seem he can go over this mark. The UNDER makes a nice value here.

Tom Brady 2 Total TD Passes

Brady had four one-TD games in a row prior to last week’s two. He’s going to throw the ball in the red zone, but how often? The Patriots have been inconsistent offensively and have scored 20 points or less in three of the last five games (though one was a victory). If the team struggles, this will be unlucky for Brady which makes this a good UNDER.

Philip Rivers 275.5 Passing Yards

Philip Rivers threw for 288 yards last week on 20-of-28 passing. He had 377 yards on 29 receptions the week prior. He’s only been under 275 in one of his last three contests, and in that game he was 18-of-25 (72 percent) with two TDs and no INTs. Simply, Rivers is a good bet to achieve this mark and a solid OVER.

Philip Rivers 23.5 Total Comp.

This is a tougher call. Rivers has averaged 23.6 completions over the last four contests and had 20 last week. The game against Jacksonville he had 29 receptions for three TDs and no INTs, and a passer rating of 91.9. Rivers is likely going to be UNDER 23.5 in this, however.

Philip Rivers Total TD Passes

The safest bet here is likely 3, actually, which offers nice value at +350. Rivers has had three or more TDs in three of the last four contest, while throwing just one INT over that span. Three would be a nice gift from a guy who is playing good football right now.
