Washington had its two-game winning streak snapped last time out, as it dropped a 117-111 overtime decision to the Sacramento Kings as 1.5-point road favorites Tuesday, while going OVER the betting total of 201.  The Wizards have four of five probable starters averaging double figures, with point guard John Wall leading the way at 19.7 points a contest, which is important to consider when making your NBA predictions.  He tallied 14 points and dished out eight assists against the Kings.  Washington is 4-5 SU and 6-3 ATS as a road underdogs of 3.5 to 6 points.

The Wizards are 18-16 SU on the road this season, including a dismal 3-9 mark versus Western Conference opponents, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro basketball odds page.  Washington has compiled a 10-5 SU record since the All-Star break, with the offense averaging 105.5 points per game on 47.2 percent shooting over that span.

Portland has alternated wins and losses over its last four games, as it looks to build off a 120-115 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks as 12.5-point home favorites Tuesday, while going OVER the betting total for a third consecutive affair.  The Trail Blazers have four of five probable starters averaging double figures, but they’ll be without the services of star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who is out with a lower back injury.  He scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Feb. 3 matchup between these two teams.  Portland is 4-2 SU and 2-4 ATS as home favorites of 3.5 to 6 points, with the OVER going 4-2 in that situation.

The Trail Blazers have won six of their last eight meetings against the Wizards when playing in the Pacific Northwest.  Portland has its best win percentage when holding foes under 45 percent shooting from the floor—leading directly to a 23-16 record this season.

Sports bettors will likely back the Wizards due to the underdog covering the number in four of the last five meetings in this series.
