Indiana has won four games in a row, including a 99-90 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers as 19-point home favorites Monday, while going UNDER the betting total for the third time in four contests.  The Pacers are 19-13 SU on the road this season, including a 12-6 mark versus Eastern Conference opponents, which is important to consider when making your NBA predictions.  Indiana is 3-4 SUATS as road favorites of three or fewer points this season, with the OVER going 5-1 in that situation.

The Pacers have all five starters averaging double figures, with forward Paul George leading the way at 22.3 points per contest, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro basketball odds page.  Indiana has won its first two meetings with New York during the 2013-14 campaign, including a 103-96 overtime victory at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 20.  Defensively, the team leads the league in allowing just 35.5 points per game in the paint, with opponents shooting just 48.9 percent from less than eight feet away from the basket.

New York has put together a six-game winning streak, including a 115-94 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks as 10.5-point home favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total for a fourth consecutive contest.  The Knicks are led on the offensive end by forward Carmelo Anthony, who is averaging 28.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.  The franchise has compiled a disappointing 15-20 SU record at home, but has gone 11-9 versus conference foes in that situation.

The Knicks may be motivated to make a run at a playoff spot, considering their now under the direction of new president Phil Jackson—the former head coach of the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.  New York has dropped four of its last five regular-season meetings against Indiana.

Sports bettors will likely back the Knicks due to their 5-1 ATS mark in their last six overall games, while the Pacers are 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 contests versus conference rivals.
