Oklahoma City had its three-game winning streak snapped last time out, as it suffered 125-120 setback to the New York Knicks as 7.5-point home favorites Sunday, while going OVER the posted total of 193.5.  “We’re good,” commented Thunder forward Kevin Durant.  “We’ve got five more games to go.”  The Thunder are 23-15 overall on the road this season, including a 12-11 mark versus Western Conference opponents, which can’t be ignored when making your NBA picks against the spread Tuesday.

The Thunder have compiled a dominating 31-7 record in games played after a loss since the beginning of the 2011-12 NBA season, which is important to consider when looking over the NBA betting lines.  Oklahoma City currently maintains a league leading point differential of 9.2 points per game this season, while it ranks second in the NBA in scoring 106.0.  Offensively, the team is led by Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, who are combining to average 68.7 points per game.

Utah has won seven of its last eight games, including a 97-90 victory over the Golden State Warriors as 5.5-point road underdogs Sunday, while going UNDER the total for a second consecutive contest.  “Four games left,” commented Jazz center Al Jefferson.  “We’ve got to have them.”  The Jazz currently occupy the No. 8 playoff spot out west by a half-game over the Los Angeles Lakers, as they’ve averaged 103.9 points on 50.3 percent shooting over their last eight contests.  Utah is 2-0 ATS as home underdogs of 3.5 to 6 points this season.

The Jazz are 29-10 overall at EnergySolutions Arena this season, including an 18-6 mark versus conference rivals.  Jefferson leads a group of five probable starters that all average in double figures offensively, as he’s scoring 17.5 points and grabbing 9.1 rebounds per game.  Utah has dropped 10 of its last 14 matchups against Oklahoma City dating back to 2009.

Sports bettors will likely back the Jazz due to the home team being 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in this series.
