Los Angeles has won back-to-back games, including a 106-84 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats as 16-point home favorites Tuesday night, while going UNDER the posted total for the first time in four contests.  The Clippers are 18-12 overall when playing away from the Staples Center, including a 7-6 mark versus Eastern Conference opponents, which can’t be ignored when making your NBA picks against the spread Thursday night.    Los Angeles is 1-2 ATS as road underdogs of three points or less this season, with the UNDER going 2-1 in that situation.

The Clippers will be expecting big things offensively from forward Blake Griffin, who has averaged 27.3 points on 63.6 percent shooting in three career games versus the Pacers.  Over the last six games, Griffin is averaging 20.2 points on 62.2 percent shooting.  On the defensive end, Los Angeles ranks fourth in the league in allowing 93.9 points per game, which is three spots behind tonight’s opponent.

Indiana has won five games in a row, including a 108-97 victory over the Golden State Warriors as 8.5-point home favorites, while going OVER the total for the third time in four contests.  The Pacers will be without the services of starting center Roy Hibbert for this affair, as he’s been suspended for one game due to an altercation last time out.  He’ll definitely be missed, as Los Angeles scores a good amount of points in the paint offensively.  Indiana is 3-11 ATS as home favorites of three points or less the last two-plus seasons.

The Pacers have won 27 of their last 37 games versus the Clippers, as they’ve managed to drop consecutive games just once in that span.  Overall, Indiana is 47-28 versus Los Angeles—winning 30 of its 38 games on its home floor.  Forward Danny Granger continues to get more action on the floor after missing most of the 2012-13 season thus far, which is important to consider when looking over the NBA betting lines.  He has averaged 26.3 points over his last three games in this particular series.

Sports bettors will likely play the total in this affair, as the OVER is 7-2 in the Pacers’ last nine home games.
