Los Angeles Clippers F Blake Griffin has been unstoppable against the Chicago Bulls in the last two meetings

Los Angeles has won six games in a row, including a 102-83 victory over the Toronto Raptors as 10.5-point home favorites on Sunday, while going UNDER the total for the first time in eight contests.  The Clippers have outscored opponents by an average of 16.8 points during its recent run, which has been caused by allowing under 100 points in five of the affairs.  “That’s all defense,” commented Clippers guard Jamal Crawford.  The team is 4-3 on the road this season, but has dropped both games against Eastern Conference opponents in that situation.

The Clippers are going to be one of the more popular NBA picks against the spread on Tuesday, but they’ve gone 7-9 ATS as a road favorite of three or fewer points since 2010.  Los Angeles did come away with a convincing 101-80 victory over Chicago as six-point home favorites in the first meeting this year, while going UNDER the posted total of 190.  The franchise’s bench actually outscored the starters in that particular affair, which isn’t surprising due to having one of the best second units in the league.

Chicago has won and covered the spread in three consecutive games, including a 93-85 victory over the New York Knicks as 2.5-point home underdogs on Saturday, while going UNDER the total for the eighth time in nine contests.  “As long as we continue to do what we are doing, we’re going to get better as the season goes on,” stated Bulls forward Luol Deng.  He is leading the team in scoring 18.3 points per game, while also averaging 7.1 rebounds.  Chicago is 1-5 ATS when playing with two days rest this season, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro basketball odds page.

The Bulls are 6-5 at the United Center this year, which includes a 3-2 mark versus Western Conference foes.  Chicago has dropped two straight at home in this series, as it will need to focus on trying to stop Los Angeles forward Blake Griffin, who is averaging 30.0 points and 11.5 rebounds in the last two meetings.

Sports bettors will likely back the Clippers due to the road team being 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings, while the Bulls are 1-5 ATS at home in the last six games in this non-conference series.
