Denver has already clinched its third consecutive AFC West title, as it comes off a 37-13 victory over the Houston Texans as 10-point road favorites in Week 16, while going UNDER the betting total for a second consecutive contest.  The Broncos have been led by the play of quarterback Peyton Manning, who has thrown an NFL-record 51 touchdown passes and needs 266 passing yards to set the single-season league record in that category.  Running back Knowshon Moreno has given the offense balance, as he’s the first player in franchise history to reach 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in a season.  Denver is 6-0 SU and 3-2-1 ATS as double-digit favorites the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 4-1-1 in that situation.

The Broncos have outscored opponents by a 572-385 margin through 15 games, which is important to consider when looking over the NFL betting lines.  Denver paces the league in averaging 38.1 points and 457.3 yards per game, while its defense ranks 22nd in both of those respective categories.  The stop unit will be playing without the services of linebacker Von Miller the rest of the season, as he’s out for the year with a knee injury.

Oakland has lost five games in a row, including a 26-13 defeat to the San Diego Chargers as 10-point road underdogs last time out, while going UNDER the betting total for the first time in eight contests.  The Raiders have dropped their last six games against Manning dating back to his time with the Indianapolis Colts, which can’t be ignored when making your NFL betting picks.  The franchise will start quarterback Terrelle Pryor in the regular season finale, which is a bit of a surprise after Matt McGloin played in the last six contests.  Oakland is 0-6 SUATS in games where the betting total is 49.5 or higher the last two-plus seasons.

The Raiders are interested to see what Pryor brings to the table in this affair, as he’s completed 135 of 234 passing attempts for 1,591 yards and five touchdowns with 11 interceptions in 10 games (8 starts).  Oakland has played Denver in six previous season finales—winning five of those affairs.

Sports bettors will likely back the Broncos due to their 7-1 ATS mark in their last eight December games.
