Western Kentucky will stay on the road for a third consecutive contest, as it looks to regroup after suffering back-to-back loss to Illinois and Middle Tennessee State as 3.5 and one-point underdogs respectively.  For the second time this season, the Hilltoppers broke their single-game school record for total offense and passing yards last time out—racking up 718 yards of offense and quarterback Brandon Doughty throwing for 593 yards.  Western Kentucky is 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS as underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Hilltoppers have tallied 140 points through three games, which is important to consider when making your Week 5 college football predictions, as it marks the quickest it has taken them to reach that type of number during the FBS era.  Western Kentucky joins Ole Miss as the only two teams to rank in the top 10 nationally in passing yards per game and not have a receiver rank in the top 50 in terms of receiving yards.  In two games against the triple-option last season, the program held Navy to 86 yards on the ground and Army to 277.

Navy is 2-2 SUATS through four games, as it looks to recover from a 31-24 setback to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as six-point home favorites, while the UNDER has cashed in each of those opportunities.  The Midshipmen are 13-8 SU against teams that currently reside in Conference USA, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football odds page.  The team has struggled to hold onto the football in the early going this season—turning it over six times in the first four games after doing so just 10 times in 13 affairs in 2013.  Navy is 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS as favorites of 3.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Midshipmen have split their first four games eight times in the last 12 years—posting a 6-1 record in their fifth game of the season in that situation.  Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds owns a 16-8 SU career record, including an 8-1 mark at home.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 5-0 in the Midshipmen’s last five September games.
