Northern Illinois is undefeated through 10 games of the 2013 campaign, which has led to being ranked 16th in the recent BCS standings, as it comes off a 48-27 victory over Ball State as 8.5-point home favorites last Wednesday.  The Huskies have won 14 consecutive road games, which is important to consider when looking over the college football odds page in Week 13.  The program has also won 23 consecutive Mid-American Conference affairs—owning the longest conference winning streak in the country.  Northern Illinois is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS when the betting line is between +3 to -3 the last two-plus seasons.

The Huskies senior class has won 44 games in the last four seasons, while the team itself has won 13 consecutive games in the month of November.  Northern Illinois owns a three-game win streak over Toledo, but has dropped 29 out of 40 all-time meetings, including just three wins in 21 games at The Glass Bowl.  Offensively, the team has put points on the board in 39 of 40 quarters, with dual-threat Jordan Lynch being one of the top players in the country at the quarterback position.

Toledo has won five games in a row, including a 51-41 victory over the Buffalo Bulls as 5.5-point home favorites last Tuesday, while going OVER the total for the fourth time during that stretch.  Four-year seniors for the program have never beaten the Huskies, which can’t be ignored when making your college football betting picks, especially if running back David Fluellen makes it onto the field.  He has missed the last two contests, but is averaging 133.4 rushing yards per game on the season.  Toledo is 5-9 SU and 9-5 ATS as underdogs the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 12-2 in that situation.

The Rockets are averaging 45.2 points during their current win streak, outscoring the opposition by 16.0 points per game.  Toledo is in third place in the MAC West Division—behind this week’s opponent and Ball State.  In head coach Matt Campbell’s 24 games on the sideline, 11 have been decided by seven or fewer points, with the squad coming away with a victory seven times in that situation.

Sports bettors will likely back the Rockets due to the underdog being 8-3 ATS in the last 11 overall meetings in this series.
