Oregon is third in the current BCS standings due to winning its first eight games, including a 42-14 victory over the UCLA Bruins as 23.5-point home favorites on Oct. 26, while going UNDER the betting total of 75.  The Ducks have more 20-yard plays on offense than any team in the nation, while their defense has allowed the fewest, which is important to consider when looking over the college football odds page in Week 11.  The program has won 18 straight non-neutral site away games.  Oregon is 10-0 SUATS as a road favorite the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 6-4 in that situation.

The Ducks didn’t have a single player with 500 receiving yards last season, but they already have two through eight games this year, with Josh Huff and Bralon Addison.  Oregon relies heavily on sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota, who has attempted a Pac-12 Conference record 293 passes without an interception, including all 225 attempts this season.  He has thrown at least one touchdown in all 21 games of his career.  The team ranks second nationally in scoring, rushing and total offense thus far during the 2013 campaign.

Stanford has won and covered the number in its last two contests, including a 20-12 victory over the Oregon State Beavers as four-point road favorites on Oct. 26, while going UNDER the betting total for a third consecutive contest.  The Cardinal are 11-1 at home against ranked opponents since 2009, while they’ve won 13-straight games at Stanford Stadium—the third-longest such streak in the nation.  It’s also important to point out that the program has won 30 of its last 31 games played in the state of California.  Stanford is 3-0 ATS as an underdog of 3.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 2-1 in that situation.

The Cardinal are 26-14-1 at home against the Ducks, while the all-time series has been decided by 144 points.  Stanford has dropped nine of the last 11 meetings in this series, which is important to consider when making your college football betting picks Thursday night.  Defensively, the team ranks 23rd in the country in allowing 353.4 yards per game, while sitting behind only nine teams in terms of stopping the run.

Sports bettors will likely back the Ducks due to their 8-3 ATS mark in the last 11 meetings.
