The Arizona State Sun Devils have won nine of their last 10 games against the Oregon State Beavers

Oregon State has won four of its last five games, including a 71-67 victory over the UCLA Bruins as five-point home underdogs Sunday, while going UNDER the betting total of 153.5.  The Beavers make the turn of Pac-12 Conference play with their best record since 1999, which can’t be ignored when making your college basketball predictions.  Offensively, the team has the conference’s leading scorer, with Roberto Nelson averaging 21.8 points per game.  Oregon State is 0-3 SU and 1-2 ATS as road underdogs of 6.5 to 9 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Beavers have out-rebounded eight of their nine conference opponents, while senior center Angus Brandt has scored in double figures in a career-best seven consecutive games.  Oregon State is 39-40 SU versus Arizona State, but has dropped nine of the last 10 meetings, which is important to consider when looking over the college basketball odds page.  The team ranks third in the Pac-12 and 14th in the country in shooting 49.0 percent from the field.

Arizona State had its three-game winning streak snapped last time out, as it dropped a 76-70 decision to the Stanford Cardinal as 5.5-point road underdogs last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total for the fifth time in six affairs.  The Sun Devils are 27-5 SU in the past two seasons at the Wells Fargo Arena, including an 11-1 mark during the 2013-14 campaign.  The club enters this week 12th in the country in shooting 40.4 percent from beyond the arc.  Arizona State is 5-2 SU and 3-4 ATS as home favorites of 6.5 to 9 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Sun Devils will be looking for a huge performance from point guard Jahii Carson, who is averaging 23.5 points over his last four games.  Arizona State also possesses the nation’s leading shot blocker in center Jordan Bachynski, who is blocking one of every 14.4 opponent field goal attempts.  The program enters No. 47 in the official RPI standings, but has plenty of opportunity to move up due to its remaining schedule.

Sports bettors will likely back the Sun Devils due to their 8-2 ATS mark in the last 10 meetings in this series.
