The Wisconsin Badgers are off to a perfect 10-0 start to the 2013-14 campaign

Milwaukee is riding a five-game winning streak, including a 73-67 victory over the Bradley Braves as 3.5-point home favorites last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total of 145.  The Panthers have had at least four players in double digits in seven of their 11 games, with Matt Tiby topping the charts with 14.7, which is important to consider when making your college basketball predictions.  The team has overcome halftime deficits in four of its nine wins.  Milwaukee is 5-0 ATS in its last five road games.

The Panthers have truly made their mark away from home, as they’ve collected four true road wins this season after tallying just one during the 2012-13 campaign.  Milwaukee head coach Rob Jeter spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Wisconsin, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college basketball odds page.  The program has just one win all-time in this series—coming 21 years ago.

Wisconsin is off to a 10-0 start for the first time since 1993-94, which is impressive due to its opponents producing a combined record of 53-22 in all other games.  The Badgers  scoring average of 73.2 is up 8.2 points per game from last season, while their 38 points allowed at Virginia were the program’s fewest given up in a road game since 1957.  All five of the team’s starters have led the squad in scoring in at least one game this year.  Wisconsin is 0-4 ATS in its last four games versus Horizon League foes.

The Badgers have won all five of their games versus RPI top 50 competition—no other team has more than two victories in that situation.  Wisconsin ranks 42nd nationally and tops the Big Ten Conference in knocking down 39.2 percent of its shots from beyond the arc.  A year after finishing last in the conference, the roster is fifth in the Big Ten in free throw shooting—connecting at a 73.7 percent clip.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in this series.
