Auburn snapped a two-game losing streak by picking up a 92-82 victory over Mississippi State as 11-point home favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total for the fourth time in five contests.  The Tigers have the highest scoring duo in the country, with Chris Denson and KT Harrell combining to average 40.0 points per game, which is important to consider when making your college basketball predictions.  Auburn is 0-6 SU and 4-2 ATS as road underdogs of 12.5 or more points the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 3-1 in that situation.

The Tigers are 2-23 SU all-time when facing teams ranked in the top two nationally, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college basketball odds page.  Of Auburn’s eight SEC losses, the average margin of defeat is just 9.1—dropping to 6.9 if you take away a 19-point setback versus the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Florida has won 17 games in a row, including a 69-59 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats as 2.5-point road underdogs last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total for the sixth time in seven contests.  The Gators are 45-29 SU all-time against the Tigers at home, including a perfect 8-0 mark under the direction of head coach Billy Donovan.  Florida is 8-0 SU and 3-5 ATS as home favorites of 15.5 to 18 points the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 5-2 in that situation.

The Gators have four starters averaging in double figures, with senior forward Casey Prather leading the way at 15.7 points a contest.  Florida point guard Scottie Wilbekin has also been playing great basketball—playing 71 minutes against Tennessee and Kentucky on the road without committing a turnover.

Sports bettors will likely back the Tigers due to the underdog being 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in this series.
