The Indiana Hoosiers have lost 11 consecutive games versus the Wisconsin Badgers

Wisconsin has won back-to-back games entering this affair, including a 68-59 victory over the Michigan Wolverines as two-point neutral-site underdogs Friday night, while the OVER is 4-1 in its last five contests.  The Badgers have held seven of their last eight opponents to 60 points or fewer, which is important to consider when making your college basketball picks against the spread Saturday night.  The program is 12-9 in Big Ten tournament games under Bo Ryan’s direction.  Wisconsin is 10-7 ATS in all tournament games the last two-plus seasons.

The Badgers have won their last 11 games against the Hoosiers by an average of 14.1 points per game, while Ryan owns a 13-3 all-time record versus Tom Crean.  Wisconsin has held Indiana to an average of 57.8 points per game during the nine meetings with Crean on the sidelines since he arrived in Bloomington.

Indiana has won seven of 10 games, including an 80-64 victory over the Illinois Fighting Illini Friday, while going OVER the total for the first time in four contests.  The Hoosiers won the Big Ten Conference regular season title, which many believe secured them one of the four No. 1 seeds in the upcoming 2013 NCAA Tournament.  “I would hope we’ve done enough,” commented Crean this week.  The squad will be seeking revenge from a 64-59 setback to Wisconsin as 10.5-point home favorites on Jan. 15, while that particular affair went UNDER the posted total of 132.5.

The Hoosiers are playing as the top seed in this event for the first time, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college basketball betting lines.  Indiana is a nation’s best 7-1 when facing a nationally ranked opponent, including a 5-0 mark versus top-10 foes.  The team is 16-1 this season when scoring 80 points or more, but that won’t likely happen versus one of the best defensive teams in the country in this spot.

Sports bettors will likely back the Badgers due to their 9-2 ATS mark in the last 11 meetings in this series.
