Villanova has won six games in a row, including a 87-62 victory over the DePaul Blue Demons as 13.5-point road favorites last Wednesday, while going OVER the betting total of 145.  The Wildcats have allowed opponents to average 61.4 points over their last five contests, which is important to consider when making your college basketball betting picks.  Offensively, the team has three starters averaging in double figures, with James Bell leading the way at 16.0 points a contest.  Villanova is 2-2 SUATS as road underdogs of three or fewer points the last two-plus seasons.

The Wildcats are a remarkable 44-10 SU when scoring 70 or more points over the last two-plus seasons, including a 20-0 mark during the 2013-14 campaign.  Villanova is currently the top-scoring team in the Big East Conference, while it has averaged 79.7 points per game during league play.  Bell has been very effective over the last four weeks—knocking down 55 of 101 shots from the field in that span.

Creighton has won five of its last six games, including a 68-63 victory over the Butler Bulldogs as eight-point road favorites last Thursday, while going UNDER the betting total for a fifth consecutive contest.  The Bluejays have two probable starters averaging in double figures, with senior forward Doug McDermott leading the way at 25.3 points a contest.  The program is 19-118 SU all-time against nationally ranked teams, including a 1-6 mark when also being listed among the Top 25.  Creighton is 11-8 SU and 3-16 ATS in February the last two-plus seasons.

The Bluejays have won 21 straight regular-season home games against teams from BCS leagues, with those victories coming by an average of 11.8 points.  Creighton set a Big East and school-record with 21 three-point baskets on Jan. 20 in a 28-point win at Villanova.  Senior Ethan Wragge was the story of the first meeting this season—knocking down seven three-point shots in the opening seven minutes.

Sports bettors will likely back the Bluejays due to their 30-10 ATS mark in their last 40 Sunday games.
