The Stanford Cardinal are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games in this series
The Stanford Cardinal are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games in this series

Stanford is 3-0 SUATS over its last three games, as it comes off a 83-74 victory over the UCLA Bruins as two-point home favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total for the first time in four contests.  The Cardinal have four of five probable starters averaging in double figures, with junior guard Chasson Randle leading the way at 18.8 points a contest, which is important to consider when making your college basketball betting picks.  Stanford is 2-0 SUATS as a road underdog of three or fewer points the last two-plus seasons.

The Cardinal are 45-31 SU all-time against the Sun Devils, which includes a 76-70 home victory in this year’s first meeting on Feb. 1 at Maples Pavilion.  In five career games in this series, Randle is averaging 14.6 points, with most of that production coming in a 30-point performance in the 2012 Pac-12 Tournament.  The starting lineup accounts for 86.7 percent of the team’s scoring during the 2013-14 campaign.

Arizona State dropped both games of its most recent road trip, including a 86-63 defeat to the Utah Utes as 5.5-point road underdogs Sunday, while going OVER the betting total of 136.5.  The Sun Devils have three players averaging double figures, with sophomore point guard Jahii Carson leading the way at 18.4 points a contest, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college basketball odds page.  Arizona State is 10-13 ATS versus teams with a winning record this season.

The Sun Devils have one of the best defensive players in the country in center Jordan Bachynski, who has collected 119 blocks on the season.  Arizona State enters this week No. 34 in the NCAA official RPI standings, which may be good enough to land the program an at-large bid in the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament.

Sports bettors will likely back the Cardinal due to their 7-1 ATS mark in the last eight meetings in this series.
