Week 10 NFL Odds & Lines
The Temple Owls are 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games

Detroit has won five of its last six games, including a 74-58 victory over Alcorn State on Dec. 19.  The Titans have five probable starters that are averaging in double figures, with guard Ray McCallum leading the way in scoring 18.5 points per game.  The starters are responsible for 85.2 percent of the team’s scoring, which can’t be ignored when making your college basketball picks against the spread Friday night.  Detroit is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 non-conference games, while going OVER in its last five contests versus Atlantic 10 foes.

The Titans lost their first five road contests of the 2012-13 college basketball season, but now they are focused on trying to win back-to-back games in that situation away from the Motor City.  Detroit will try its best to score 80 or more points in this affair, considering it owns a 5-0 mark when doing so this season, while winning its last 19 games overall.  The squad currently leads the Horizon League in five team categories, including scoring offense and three-point field goals made.

Temple is coming off its fifth Top 10 win in the last five seasons, as it captured an 83-79 victory over the Syracuse Orange as 10-point neutral-site favorites, while going OVER the posted total of 140.5.  The Owls are led by senior guard Khalif Wyatt, who is averaging 16.2 points and 3.9 assists per game, while also being the reigning A10 and National Player of the Week.  The team is averaging 71.3 points per game offensively, while surrendering just 64.9.  Temple is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games following a straight-up win.

The Owls are currently celebrating their 15th Anniversary season at the Liacouras Center, as they own a 157-44 overall record in the building since it opened in 1997.  Temple has won 36 of its last 38 games at the facility, including a 10-1 mark during the 2011-12 campaign.  The program was picked to finish fourth in the A10 in a poll of coaches and media members before the season, as the conference ranks seventh in college basketball in the latest RPI ratings.

Sports bettors will likely back the Titans due to the Owls being 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games.
