Big South Tournament
Creighton Blue Jays are 20-14 ATS at home the past two-plus seasons

Nebraska hits the road for the second time this season and will look to bounce back from a tough 55-53 loss to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.  The Cornhuskers picked up a 64-61 overtime win over the USC Trojans as two-point road underdogs in their first trip outside of the state on Nov. 14.  The two teams have alternated wins and losses over the last six meetings, with Nebraska registering a 59-54 win as 7.5-point home favorites last year.  Over the last two-plus years, the team is 0-2 ATS as a road underdog of 6.5 to 9 points.

The Cornhuskers offense scored a season-low 53 points last time out, which was a bit surprising due to scoring 64 or more points in the first five games.  On the defensive end, Nebraska has held five of its six opponents to under 65 points on the season, but that will be a tough chore Sunday afternoon in playing a team that’s averaging 88.8 points a game.  Nebraska owns a 25-19 advantage over Creighton in the series, but the home team has won each of the last six meetings in the series.  Senior point guard Bo Spencer is averaging a team-high 15.5 points and ranks ninth in the Big Ten Conference in scoring.

Creighton returns home off an 85-83 win over the San Diego State Aztecs as 2.5-point road underdogs, pushing the team’s record to a perfect 6-0 on the season.  The Blue Jays were picked to win the Missouri Valley Conference due to returning 10 lettermen and three starters from a squad that finished 23-16 a year ago.  The program has won nine of the past 12 meetings, while also owning a 14-9 edge in games played in Omaha.  Creighton is 20-14 ATS at home the last two-plus seasons.

The Blue Jays own four wins in 13 games against Big Ten competition, including an 82-59 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes as 2.5-point neutral-site underdogs.  Creighton is known for moving the ball around offensively, ranking second nationally in averaging 22.3 assists per game, while also checking in fourth nationally in scoring 88.8 points per game.

Bettors will likely back the Blue Jays due to their 11-1 ATS mark as a home favorites, while the Cornhuskers have dropped five consecutive games versus the number against MVC competition.
