Kansas has lost four games in a row, including a 34-21 defeat to the Texas Tech Red Raiders as 12.5-point road underdogs on Oct. 18, while going UNDER the betting total for the sixth time in seven contests this season.  The Jayhawks have lost 27 consecutive true road games, which can’t be ignored when making your Week 10 college football predictions, while they’ve dropped their last 30 overall when playing away from Lawrence.  Kansas is 0-2 SUATS as underdogs of 31 or more points the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER cashing in both of those opportunities.

The Jayhawks are being outscored by an average of 11.4 points per game this season, which is important to consider when looking over the college football betting lines.  Kansas has some weapons to target in the passing game, with Jimmay Mundine ranking first among Big 12 Conference tight ends in receiving yards with 294 on 23 receptions.  Senior wide receiver NIck Harwell has been very consistent in his career—catching a pass in 37 consecutive games.

Baylor will look to bounce back from a 41-27 defeat to the West Virginia Mountaineers as 8.5-point road favorites on Oct. 18, as it looks to extend its home winning streak to 13 games.  The Bears leads the country in averaging 579.0 yards per game and sits behind just one team in scoring 49.0 points a contest.  It’s important to point out that the program has won its last 17 games played in the Lone Star State.  Baylor is 5-0 SUATS as favorites of 31 or more points the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 3-1-1 in that situation.

The Bears have won three straight games following a loss by an average of 19.3 points, while quarterback Bryce Petty continues to stay among the top Heisman Trophy contenders in 2014.  Petty is seventh in the country in being responsible for 20.0 points per game, while he ranks 10th in averaging 15.0 yards per completion.  The school will look to improve upon its 43-43-4 SU record in Homecoming games.

Sports bettors will likely back the Bears due to the home team being 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings in this series.
