Florida State has won nine consecutive games against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents, which includes a 63-0 victory over the Maryland Terrapins as 17-point home favorites on Oct. 5, while the OVER has cashed in all five of its contests this season.  The Seminoles are one of 10 teams nationally to have at least 10 different offensive players score a touchdown, which is important to consider when looking over the college football odds page.  Offensively, the team has racked up 614 yards of total offense on 82 plays against the Terrapins—the 14th time in its last 19 games it has gone over the 400-yard mark in that category.

The Seminoles have averaged 480.9 yards per game during their nine-game winning streak against conference opponents, which can’t be ignored when making your college football betting picks in Week 8.  Florida State is 9-1 SU all-time against Top 10 teams and 3-1 against Top 5 opponents during ACC play.  The team has an active streak of 37 straight seasons in which it has appeared in the Top 25 poll.  Under head coach Jimbo Fisher, the program is 10-4 on the road during conference play, including a 4-4 mark versus Atlantic Division foes in that situation.

Clemson enters this game with a perfect 6-0 record, as it comes off a 24-14 victory over the Boston College Eagles as 24-point home favorites last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total for the third time in four contests.  The Tigers are 8-18 against the Seminoles, but the home team has proven victorious in 10 of the last 11 meetings in the series.  Saturday will be just the second time in school history that it has been involved in a battle of top five teams, with the last instance coming in 1982.  Clemson is 4-2 SU and 5-1 ATS as underdogs the last two-plus seasons.

The Tigers are certainly known for their high-powered offense, but the defense is giving up just 16.2 points per game, which ranks 10th in the nation in that particular category.  Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd has thrown for 9,836 yards in his career, which ranks fourth on the all-time list among ACC players.

Sports bettors will likely back the Seminoles due to their 5-1 ATS mark in their last six overall games.
