College football blesses us with our first full day of games. Maddux Sports’ college football odds page notes movement from the opening lines to now. But before we get to some good match-ups, did anyone else back Temple Friday night? I did. Please post your joy. If you dont care about the analysis and just want todays lines just head over to our college football lines page offering live sportsbooks odds for the college football games scheduled today.

Florida vs. Miami (OH): This line has seen a lot of change. Florida opened at 30 ½ points. Now books are checking in between 37-38. The Gators reload with another talented team predicted to win the SEC East. Miami (OH) is an average MAC team. The public is pushing this line, playing Florida at 95%.

Illinois vs. Missouri: This line has stayed steady. Missouri’s Blaine Gabbert could have a big year. Ron Zook needs a big year. Missouri opened at 12 ½ points, the line dropped to 11 or 11 ½ but now sits at 12 at most sites. The public is on Mizzou at 4:1. This is being played in St. Louis, Missouri.

Colorado vs. Colorado State: The Buffs and Rams lock horns in their annual showdown for state bragging rights. Colorado’s young players have matured – can they put it together this year? Dan Hawkins had better hope so, I think. The Rams are rebuilding and might be in for a tough year. The line opened with Colorado favored by 13 ½, but it’s come down to 11 or 11 ½. The underdog has owned this match-up, going 10-3 ats in recent action. The Rams are getting played at about 3:2. This takes place in Denver, Colorado.

Texas vs. Rice: The Longhorns opened as 32 ½ point favorites over the in-state Owls, but the line has come down to 31 at most books. The public loves the ‘Horns in this one, playing them over 90% of the time. Maybe a little reverse action means this could be tougher for Texas than most people think.

Notre Dame vs. Purdue: The Brian Kelly era begins in South Bend as the Fightin’ Irish host the Boilermakers. Miami transfer Robert Marve leads Purdue this season. Notre Dame opened at 12 ½, but with public playing Purdue about 2:1, the line has come down to 10 ½ most places.

Michigan vs. Connecticut: Rich Rodriguez is another coach on the hot seat. The Wolverines need a strong season, but UCONN is no pushover, even in the Big House. Some pundits are predicting UCONN to maybe win the Big East. Michigan opened as 2 ½ point favorites but the line has moved to 3 at most sites. Michigan is currently getting over 60% of the public’s attention.

Kentucky vs. Louisville: Bragging rights for the state of Kentucky in a game that pits teams from the SEC and Big East. The line has held steady in this one. Kentucky opened at 3 points, is still at 3, and I haven’t seen it move much.

Kansas State vs. UCLA: Professional bettors, along with Kevin Prince’s quadriceps muscle, are moving this line. The Bruins opened as 2 ½ point favorites, and despite the public now playing UCLA 2:1, the line is 1 ½ and moving to 2 points at many sites. Rick Neuheisel and Bill Snyder are each in their second seasons at their former schools.

BYU vs. Washington: The Huskies look for a road win in a hostile environment. Jake Locker is maybe the Heisman frontrunner. The Cougars opened as 3 ½ point favorites, but with the public on the side of Washington at nearly 4:1, the line has moved down to 2 at most books.

Alabama vs. San Jose State: ‘Bama starts its national championship defense with a weak, week 1 opponent, though they’ll be without reigning Heisman trophy winner, Mark Ingram. The Crimson Tide opened as 38 point favorites, but with Ingram out the line has moved to 37 or 37 ½ points, depending on the sportsbook. The public is playing Alabama at just shy of 75%.

Oklahoma vs. Utah State: Oklahoma is the popular pick to come out of the Big 12. They open up with the Utah State Aggies in a game that has seen significant line movement. Oklahoma opened at 28 points, and after most books went to 34 the line has come down to 33 ½ most places. The public is hammering Oklahoma with over 90% of plays.

TCU vs. Oregon State: This is one of the weekend’s biggest games. The Horned Frogs need every game. The Beavers two stars – brothers James and Jacquizz Rodgers – are the only two Oregon State players from Texas. The game will be played in Arlington, Texas. TCU opened at 14 points, but with the public playing the Beavers at 7:1, the line has come down to 13 ½.

LSU vs. North Carolina: What a mess. Last I saw, North Carolina will be without 13 starters. Not sure what’s going to happen, but UNC is at an obvious disadvantage. Linesmakers think so. The game started as a pick, but now the Tigers are favored by 9 ½ points most places. LSU is getting played at over 90%.

Wisconsin vs. UNLV: The Badgers are a darkhorse to win the Big 10. John Clay should have a big year behind a veteran offensive line. The public likes the Badgers at just under 90%. Wisconsin opened at 18 points, but now books are listing the game anywhere between 19 ½ and 20 ½ with most coming down at an even 20 points.

Nebraska vs. Western Kentucky: This is another line that has shot skyward. Nebraska and its much-talked-about defense started at 31 points but the line has gone up to 37 ½ points at most sites, with a couple at 38. Nevertheless, the public is killing Nebraska at over 90%.

Tulsa vs. East Carolina: This is a big game in Conference USA between two teams with a history of conference championship run-ins. Tulsa opened as a road favorite at 4 ½ points. The line eventually moved to 9 or 9 ½, and now has come back down to 7 points at most books. The public may have brought this back down with just under 65% of plays in favor of East Carolina.

Texas Tech vs. SMU: This should be a fun game to watch. June Jones and his high-flying offense against a Red Raider team loaded at wide receiver and quarterback. Mike Leach is out, Tommy Tuberville is in, but look for Tech’s wide-open attack to continue. The line opened with Tech as the 10 ½ point favorite, but with the public betting the Red Raiders at over 77%, the line has jumped to 13 ½ to 14 points.

Navy vs. Maryland: The other game on Monday. This is another line with some reverse movement. Navy opened at 10 ½ points, and even though the public is playing Navy at just over 3:2, the line has come down to 6 or 6 ½ points. This game is in Baltimore, Maryland.

Boise State vs. Virginia Tech: The marquee match-up of the college football weekend takes place Monday night at Landover, Maryland. Can Boise State knock off another top-notch BCS team? Will Virginia Tech make an early statement? The public is split nearly 50/50. The line has moved from Boise State favored by 2 ½ points to the Broncos now by 1 ½ at many books. Should be a battle.

We nailed Arizona -16 for members on Friday and will continue the winning on Saturday. These winning plays are available for the weekend, and they are guaranteed.
